To all of Steve's family,
I was so shocked and saddened to hear of Steve's passing. He was in one of the first classes I taught when I came to teach at Pine Valley. As I remember right, he sure did make things interesting....and funny. In the years since I ran into him a few times, and it was always nice to see him. Although school wasn't his favorite place as I remember, we got along well, and he liked to show off his children to me and tell me about what he was doing in life. I was glad to see things working out for him. When I retired last year, the nicest surprise I got was a card from Steve. I thought that was so nice that he would remember me, and I have kept that card. He had a good heart. My thoughts are with all of you during this time.

I am so sorry to hear about Stephen's passing. No words can lessen the grief that all of you must feel, and nothing can replace his presence. But, I pray the memories you have of him live on and feed your soul with joy and the peace of God.
I remember lots of fun times playing/staying overnight at the Kachelmeyer home with Stephen consistently picking on and teasing us girls. That's what big brothers are for!
May God grant you all the strength to get through this very difficult time. With love,Jacquie Roth
