Ida M. Erdley, 80, of Eden, New York died, Friday, December 2, 2011 in Mercy Hospital. She was born June 14, 1931, the daughter of the late Joseph and Alverta McCullough.
She was a member of the Eden VFW Memorial Post 8625, where she was a Past Treasurer for many years, and a Life Member of the Ladies Auxiliary. She was also a member of the Eden American Legion Newell-Faulkner Post 880. She was and avid bowler and has been on many leagues for almost 50 years. She had a special love for her family, especially her grandchildren.
She is survived by her honey, Jerry Norman, her children; Carol (late William) Spruce and Thomas (Marilyne) Erdley.
Sister of Earl (Sue) McCullough, Eleanor (late Christ) McCausland and Mary McCullough.
Also survived by 7 grandchildren and 12 great grandchildren.
Friends may call Sunday, December 4, 2011 from 7:00-9:00PM and Monday, December 5, 2011 from 2:00-4:00PM and 7:00-9:00PM at Laing Funeral Home Inc 2724 W. Church St. Eden where services will be held on Tuesday, December 6, 2011 at 11:00AM. In lieu of flowers memorials may be made to Eden EMS/Rescue Squad Box 111, Eden, NY 14057.
