Obituary of Renee L. Paszek

Renee L. Paszek (Nee: Wenglik) , 48, of Hamburg, New York died, after a long illness, Thursday, December 29, 2011 in Buffalo General Hospital. She was born in Gowanda, New York, on August 26, 1963, the daughter of Jacqueline L. (Young) and the late Ronald E. Wenglik. She will forever be remembered for her love of rainbows, the beach, and beautiful sunsets. The joy of her life was her daughter, Maddison. With Maddison by her side, Renee was full of life. She was and avid reader and enjoyed music. She graduated from Buffalo General School of Nursing in 1984. Earning her degree in Registered Nursing, Renee worked at Buffalo General Hospital. She also had been a Home Healthcare Registered Nurse. She was a member of the Eden United Methodist Church, where she was a Parish Nurse. She had such compassion for helping others, that even through her death she was able to help those in medical need by being an organ donor. She is preceded in death by her father Ronald E. Wenglik. She is survived by her daughter Maddison P. Paszek, her mother; Jacqueline L. (Lionel Curtis),sister; Alora L. (David) Gross, sister; Kimberly L. (Meg Gehl),also Steve Curtis, Douglas (Robin) Curtis, and Gloria (Charles) Gange. She is also survived by her nieces and nephews, that she adored; Garrett, Trevor, and Aubree Gross; Arden and Hunter Gehl; Morgan, Justin, and Nathanial Gange, Jason Curtis, Samantha and Alexandra Curtis. A Memorial service will be held Saturday, January 14, 2012 at 11:00AM at the Eden Untied Methodist Church 2820 E. Church Street, Eden, New York. Family will be present after the memorial service to greet friends. Memorials may be made to her daughter Maddison's Education fund.
