Obituary of Grace M. Casella

Grace M. Casella, 94, of Fredonia, New York died Sunday, January 22, 2012 in Brooks Memorial Hospital. She was born in Dunkirk, NY on October 2, 1917, the daughter of the late Rocco (Rocky) and Jennie (nee: Campese) Casella. Grace attended Dunkirk High School and graduated in1936. She was employed at the former VanRoalte Co for 6 years and retired from Welch Foods after 28 years of service in the Accounts Payable Department. She was a member the Sheridan Centeretts Home Bureau , as well as a member of the Order of Eastern Stars Canadaway #258, formerly Fredonia # 430. She enjoyed bowling, crocheting, and making craft items. She was an avid holiday decorator, especially for the Christmas holiday. She enjoyed traveling. Grace collected angels, dolls, and coco-cola items. She was a member of Holy Trinity RC Church in Dunkirk. She lived in Dunkirk, NY until January 1980, and then moved to Fredonia at 1-Temple Square. Besides her parents, she is preceded in death by her brother; Michael; brother, Dominick, and two infant brothers. She is survived by several nieces and nephews.
