Marilyn A. Latona, RN., 86, of Eden, New York died Tuesday, June 5, 2012 in her residence. She was born August 16, 1925 in Langford, New York, the daughter of the late Arthur and Mary Krebs.
Marilyn was proud of the fact that she earned her degree and became a Registered Nurse.
She was a member of the Immaculate Conception Church, serving on the Altar and Rosary Society. She also sang in the church choir for many years.
Besides her parents she is preceded in death by her husband Angelo J. on November 29, 2010, a sister Marjorie (Joseph) Gier, and three brothers; Oliver Krebs, John (Eleanor) Krebs, and Arnold Krebs and son-in-law Francis Bowers.
Survived by her children; Elaine (Gordon) Suttell, Marilyn Bowers, James A. Latona, and Kevin (Cindy) Latona, a sister; Claribel (Larry) Knoll, and a sister-in-law, Audrey Krebs.
Also survived by eight grandchildren and ten great grandchildren and several nieces and nephews.
Family invites friends to call Thursday. June 7, 2012 from 2-4pm and 7-9pm at the Laing Funeral Home Inc. 2724 West Church Street, Eden, NY 14057.
A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated Friday, June 8, 2012, 10:00AM at Immaculate Conception Church. Burial will be in Immaculate Conception Cemetery, Eden, NY
