Ruth R. Rice (Nee: Boseck) 84 of Eden, NY died Thursday, February 4, 2010 in her home surrounded by her loving family. She was the daughter of Clarence and Myrtle (Schiess) Boseck. She was the loving wife of Gerald B. Rice who predeceased her.
She was a member of the Eden Senior Citizens and the Eden Night Home Bureau.
Mrs. Rice enjoyed fishing at her cottage on Chautauqua Lake. She is survived by her children: Gary (Sue) Rice and Sharon (Jack) Jacobs. Also surviving are her grandchildren: David (Shannon) Rice, Jill ( Daniel) Niefergold, and Amy (Larry) Jacobs.
Family and friends are invited to call at the Laing Funeral Home Inc. 2724 W. Church St. Eden NY on Sunday, February 7, 2010 from 2PM-4PM and 7PM-9PM
A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated Monday, February 8, 2010 at 9:30AM in the Immaculate Conception Church, Eden. Burial will be held in the Immaculate Conception Cemetery.
