Gary J. Hoelscher, 63, of East Eden, New York, died Friday, March 8, 2013 in Buffalo General Hospital. He was born May 17, 1949, the son of late Joseph D. Hoelscher, Sr. and Elvira C. (Dole) Hoelscher.
He was a Dairy Farmer all of his life working on the Hoelscher Family Farm. He was concidered the "Family Wheather Man" as he always enjoyed reading the Farmer's Almanac.
Gary had a smile for everyone and will be sadly missed by all.
Gary had a special love for the Amish Community.
He was the twin brother of Gordon; brother of Doris (Kenneth) Hoffman, Joseph (Marilyn) and Gerard (Janet) Hoelscher.
Also survived by nieces and nephews.
Family invites friends to call 6:30pm to 9:00pm Sunday, March 10, 2013 at Laing Funeral Home Inc. 2724 W. Church St. Eden.
A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated Monday 10am at St. Mary's Oratory, East Eden.
Burial will follow in the St. Mary's Cemetery.
