Obituary of Robert P. Trippy

Robert P. Trippy, age 43, of Daytona Beach, Florida, formerly of Fredonia, NY, died Wednesday, August 14, 2013 after a brief illness.
He was born December 26, 1969 in Dunkirk, NY. The son of Paul F. (Karen) Trippy, Sr. and the late Marcia Mitchell. He was the step son of Larry Mitchell.
He attended Fredonia Central Schools and the BOCES Conservation Program.
He will be remembered as a talented drummer and enjoyed being able to jam with his friends. He was a particular fan of Ozzie Osbourne and a huge fan of guitarist Randy Rhodes.
He was a driver for the City Bus Company in Fort Myers, FL; drove for the Daytona Florida Recycling Company and was a night security officer for the Daytona Race Track.
He enjoyed spending time with his family. He had a love for animals. He also enjoyed fishing.
Robert is predeceased by his mother, Marcia Mitchell.
He is survived by his father, Paul F. (Karen) Trippy, Sr., of Fredonia, NY, his step-father, Larry Mitchell of Daytona Beach, FL; his children, Hayley and Shania Trippy of North Collins, NY; his siblings, Jamison J. Trippy, Sr. of Niagara Falls, NY, Shawna Mitchell (Jay Atwell) of Daytona Beach, FL, Paul F. Trippy, Jr. (Cheryl Tripp) and Jai (Rachel) Culver-Trippy of Dunkirk, NY.
Also survived by his paternal grandfather, Paul C. Trippy of Fredonia, NY and Casa Grande, AZ. Nephews Triston Libby, Jamison J. Trippy Jr. and Paul F. Trippy III and nieces Reese Trippy and Madison Trippy as well as a great-nephew Landon Trippy also survive.
A graveside service will be held on Saturday, September 21, 2013 at 2:00 pm at the Pioneer Cemetery, Forestville, NY.
Memorials in memory of Robert may be made to Lakeshore Humane Society, 431 E. Chestnut St., Dunkirk, NY
