Mary B. Ptak (nee: Parysek), age 90, died Sunday, August 25, 2013 in her residence. She was born on September 8, 1922 in East Eden, New York, the daughter of late Leslie and Amelia (Weiss) Parysek.
She was a life-long resident of Eden, New York. She was a member of the Immaculate Conception Church in Eden. She was a member of the Alter and Rosary Society. She also served as the a Past Secretary in the Parent-Teacher Association.
She married her loving husband the late John Ptak.
She is survived by three sons; John L. Ptak, James A. Ptak and Jerald M.(Peggy) Ptak; two daughter, Mary M. (Robert) Schreiner and Margaret R. Sallak; a brother, Joseph Parysek; two sisters, Wanda Filipiak and Joan Blachura. Also surviving are 13 grandchildren and five great grandchildren.
Besides her parents and her husband John, she is predeceased by four siblings; Edward, Leslie, Anthony and John Parysek. Family invites friends to call Wednesday, August 28, 2013 from 7-9pm and Thursday, August 29, 2013 2-4pm and 7-9pm at the Laing Funeral Home Inc. 2724 W. Church St. Eden.
A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated 10AM Friday, August 30, 2013 at Immaculate Conception Church, Eden. Memorials to Hospice Foundation PO Box 590, Buffalo, NY or Immaculate Conception Church 8791 South Main St. Eden, NY
