Eleanor Minnie Foit (nee: Kreamer), age 79, died Saturday, November 2, 2013. She was born February 9, 1934 in Angola, New York. She was the daughter of George and Bertha (Ratzel) Kreamer. She married her loving husband James H. Foit on February 6, 1954.
She worked alongside her husband James for over 50 years in the Foit Floor Covering Company. She also was a seamstress for over 60 years.
She was a member of and volunteered countless hours at the St. James United Church of Christ. She also volunteered at the Autumn View Manor Nursing Home. She was a member of the East Eden Home Bureau for many years; also a member of the Boston Seniors Young at Heart.
She was known as an avid bowler and enjoyed spectating her grandchildren's sports and musical events.
She was the devoted wife of James H. Foit, Sr. who died April 16, 2003; the loving mother of Debi (Kim) Lickfield, James Jr. (Sharon) Foit, Lisa (Richard) Lindner, Julie (Joseph) Poliseno, Timothy (Mary) Foit, Jeanne (Jim) Sobczak and Michael (Annie) Foit.
Sister of Sylvia (Bill) Robison, Barbara (late Frank) Reuter and George (Judy) Kreamer.
Grandmother of 19 and Great grandmother of nine plus one.
Memorial service will be held Saturday, November 9, 2013 at 1:00 pm at St. James United Church of Christ 76 Main St. Hamburg.
No prior visitation.
