Obituary of Richard K. Lindner

Richard K. Lindner, 51, of Holland, N.Y., died Friday, March 14, 2014. He was born November 5, 1962 in Lackawanna, N.Y. He was the son of Lewis and late Judith Lindner (nee Hesslink). He married his loving wife, Lisa A. Foit, on March 16, 1990 in Orchard Park at his parents' house. He worked for Sahlem's Roofing and Siding, Inc. for 24 years, specializing in siding and windows. He was known as an avid sports fan and spent most of his time outdoors. When he had to be inside, he watched old black and white films, read and made big pots of pasta sauce. He loved his family and was very proud of his daughters. He loved going to all concerts, whether it be a rock show or his girls' recitals. He is survived by his father Lewis Lindner, his loving wife Lisa A. (nee Foit), his two daughters Emilee and Aimee Lindner, his sister Cheryl (Jim) Clementson, two brothers Howard (Lisa) Lindner and John Scott Lindner. Also survived by several nieces and nephews. No prior visitation will be observed. A memorial service will be held Friday, March 21, 2014 at 5 p.m. at the St. James United Church of Christ, Hamburg, N.Y.
