MaryAnn Spence, “Bitty,” age 83, of Eden, New York died Sunday, March 23, 2014 in Mercy Hospital. She was born March 15, 1931 in Buffalo, New York. She was the daughter of late George and Anna (Cole) Huber. She married her loving husband Donald D. Spence, Sr., in 1955. Donald died October 31, 1991. She was loved by everyone she met. She brought smiles to everyone around her. She enjoyed working in her yard; mowing the lawn and attending to her flowers and plants. She was an avid baker and was known for her Vinegar Pie.
She was a devoted wife, traveling anywhere her husband was stationed while serving his country.
Besides her parents and husband Donald Sr., MaryAnn is predeceased by a son Donald D. Spence, Jr., and brothers George (Audrey) and Edward (Diane) Huber.
She is survived by two sons James F. Spence, Kenneth J. (Sharon) Spence, a daughter, Lavine (Randy Hatten) Spence, daughter- in- law, Colleen Spence; a sister Rose Mary (Thomas) Reiman, a brother Peter (Lynn) Huber. Also survived by eight grandchildren and six great grandchildren.
No prior visitation.
Memorial service will be held Saturday, April 5, 2014 at 1:00 pm at the Kingdom Hall of Jehovah’s Witnesses 190 Sunset Dr. Hamburg.
