To the entire Doering family, i would like to express my deepest condolensces. I knew Jason for only a short time, but, in that short time, he was able to touch my heart. We had many late night talks over the weeks that he was here at ECMC, and I got to know that he was, and always will be, a warm and loving human being. I meet many people in my profession, but, few leave as lasting an impression as Jason and your entire family have. I remember fondly the last night I had the pleasure of caring for Jason, when all his family & friends were around in his room and he was joking and laughing with everyone. Please know that you are all in my thoughts and prayers and if there is anything I can ever do, please do not hesitate to ask.
