HENRY – Walter Junior
Age 92, passed away peacefully on January 3, 2016 at his home in Eden, NY. Survived by his wife of 67 years to Ruth, children Cindy, Timothy, Barbara, Bruce and Emily, 11 grandchildren and 3 great grandchildren. Lifetime family farmer in Eden Valley, BS Cornell University ’48, Army Air Corps veteran, New York Farm Bureau receiving the Governor’s Agricultural Award ’92, Hamburg School Board ’76-83. Visitation at Laing Funeral Home Inc. 2724 W. Church St. Eden, NY Sunday 2-4 and 7-9. Memorial service at St. Paul’s Lutheran Church Monday at 11 am. In lieu of flowers, the family suggests memorial gifts to Camp Pioneer and Retreat Center, Angola, NY, or the Buffalo and Erie County Botanical Garden Society.
