Charles W. Hixon 74 of Eden, NY died Saturday, August 21, 2010 in his home.
He was born the son of Carl Hixon and Mildred (Griffith) Park. He was born September 1, 1935. Mr. Hixon married his loving wife, Lucia T. (LaPaglia),of 52 years on August 9, 1958. He performed for 18 years in the Immaculate Conception Church program, "The Witness." He was a member of the Buffalo Chorus Queen City Chordsmen. Along with the chorus he had two quartet he was active in for many years, In Accordance and The Greeting Chords. He belonged to the Barbershop organization, S.P.E.B.S.Q.S.A. Mr. Hixon honorably served his country by serving in the US Army during the Korean War Era.
He will be sadly missed by all who knew him
Besides his wife, Lucia, he is survived by his children; Grace (David) Yingling and Angela (Jack) Rigley. Also surviving are his five grandchildren; Elanie (David) Gullo, Angel Yingling, Laura (Matthew) Frank, John Rigley , James Rigley; his two great grandchildren Gabriel and Liam Gullo, and a sister Carole (Gene) Dunn.
He is predeceased by his parent and a sister Beatrice Vrentas.

A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated on Tuesday August 23, 2010 at 10:00AM at Immaculate Conception Church, Eden, NY.
Burial will be in the Eden Evergreen Cemetery. In Lieu of flower memorials may be made to HOSPICE Foundation of WNY PO Box 590, Buffalo, New York 14240.
