So sad to hear that he passed away. I didn’t know him long but way back in the old days, he used to work with my grandparents before they passed away. I haven’t knew him that long, maybe a few years from volunteering at the Eden/North Collins Food Pantry. He was a funny guy, always put a smile on peoples faces. He will be missed.

I met Howie many years ago when he "worked" with my good friend Sharon Brockman. Howie was always happy, full of life and a joy to be with. Howie, you will be missed by many.

I’m saddened to hear of Howie’s passing. You definitely had a special father, grandfather etc! I worked with Howie at Wilson farms, he was so great to my kids! When he saw my kids coming, he went and hid where the ice was kept, they would go right to the ice door and he’d pop out. My kids really thought he lived in the ice door. Keep all your memories close to your heart and he will always be with you.

You were the most amazing grandfather that a granddaughter could ask for. You taught us to love, you showed us how to work hard, you picked us up when we fell, you encouraged us to be strong and not settle for less than everything the world could offer us. You were so proud of all of us, and I will always remember coming to visit and listening to complete strangers telling us stories they had heard from you. You were the glue that held us together and the comic relief in all the too serious moments. You were the representation of everything great in living life to it's fullest, especially afternoon naps. We will try hard to be representative of your legacy, a bunch of Tough Mudders and Hooligans.
