Devoted wife of the late Dr. George B. Sidford, DDS,
Loving mother of Mary E. (Paul Jr.) Laing.
Beloved grandmother of Adam Paul and Allison Margaret Laing. Sister of the late Jane C. Obringer, daughter of late Thomas E. and Genevieve K. Callahan. Several nieces, nephews and great nieces and nephews also survive.
Margaret was a graduate of D’Youville and Canisius College. She spent 25 years teaching in the Hamburg School District. She was a member of the Hamburg Garden Club and NYSUT Retired Teachers.
She served at the SS. Peter and Paul RC Church Rectory as well as the Elizabeth Ministry and the Outreach Ministry. She was a Friends of the Night People volunteer. She also volunteered for the American Red Cross.
No prior visitation.
Flowers gratefully decline. Memorials may be made to Catholic Charity.
Family and friends are invited to a Mass of Christian Burial at 10AM in SS Peter & Paul RC Church, 66 E. Main St., Hamburg on Tuesday, May 14, 2019
