Obituary of Pastor Rodney D. Mileham

Pastor Rodney D. Mileham, age 64, of Kendall, NY went home to with the Lord on Wednesday, August 26, 2020. He was born March 22, 1956 in Batavia, NY, a son of Leona M. and the late Edwin F. Mileham, Sr. He married his devoted wife of 40 years, the former Patricia M. Merritt on April 12, 1980 in the Batavia United Methodist Church. Rodney was ordained on June 9, 2002 as a Full Elder. He became the Associate Pastor at the Akron United Methodist Church from 1995-1997, he was the Pastor of the Alabama-Basom United Methodist Church from 1997-1999, he was the Pastor of the Oakfield United Methodist Church from 1999-2004, he was Pastor of the Laona United Methodist Church from 2004-20011, he was Pastor of East Randolph United Methodist Church from 2011-2018 and was currently serving as Pastor of the Kendall United Methodist Church. He was a past member of the Randolph and Kendall Lions Clubs. He was known as a skilled craftsman, living by the motto; “Making Homes Safer, Warmer and Drier.” He would help anyone who needed help with his craftsmanship. He was a loving son, husband, father and grandfather who enjoyed spending time with his family. He is preceded in death by his father, Edwin F. Mileham, Sr. He is survived by his mother, Leona M. Mileham; wife, Patricia M. Mileham; his children, Tami Mileham, Kelly (Stacey) Mileham, Nicholas (Cathy) Mileham and Justin (Danielle) Mileham; his grandchildren, Timothy, Kyle, Samantha, Alex, Hunter, Lilly, Cassidy, Kayla, Zoey, Noah, Brinn and Adley; his great grandchildren, Rylan and Lynleigh. Also survived by his siblings, Edwin (LuAnn) Mileham, Jr., Douglas Mileham, Eric Mileham, Rebecca (late Chipper) Nicometi and Chad (Tina) Mileham. A memorial Service will be held at the Indian Falls United Methodist Church, 7908 Alleghany Rd, Corfu, NY at 11:00AM on Friday, September 4, 2020.
