Each moment of our lives are marked with memories, some special, some not so special, but each created as puzzle pieces that we all reflect back on and Mrs. Breeser was one of the fondest memories that I have during a short lived presence in Eden, NY.
As a young rebel attending high school in Eden following my fathers transfer to Buffalo from Texas in the early 70's, a freindship developed with Bruce, Barb's son and we would often found ourselves at her kitchen table visiting for hours especially as she would overlook the fact that we were underage to drink and she would let us partake while watching with a close eye as any mother would do, and it did not take much to create a very loud, fun and memorable exchange of banter.
She made sure we behaved without being dictorial about our rebellious behavior of consuming alchohol at such an early age.
The laughter and life lessons learned at that table left an indelible mark on me as a person and a special place in my heart. She will be missed. As life moves at an incredibly fast pace, I welcome reconnecting with her children, Her husband and children were part of that play and it was fun!
