Gene M. Johnson died Thursday, August 19, Gene was born in Jamestown, NY. He was a son of the late Harry (Gertrude Fisher) Johnson. He married his wife the former Jane E. Cole of 43 years on April 14, 1978. Besides his wife Jane, Gene is survived by his children; Sarah (Tyson) Minavio, Bonnie (Erik) Coulter and Gabriel (Michael Centi, III) Johnson, LFD; his grandchildren; Niko, Sean and Ash Minavio, Taren and Payton Coulter, two brothers; Stanley (Phyllis) Johnson and Russell (Teresa) Johnson; two sisters, Arloween (late Robert) Parsons and Joyce (Glenn) Zeltman. Also Survived by his best friend Greg Rater.
Besides his parents Gene is preceded in death by 3 brothers; John (late Denise) Johnson, Paul (Donna) Johnson and Richard (late Marsha) Johnson and two sisters; Dorothy (Bruce) Kelly and Shirley (late Raymond) Hosier
Following Gene’s wishes all services will be held private. Arrangements are entrusted to his son Gabriel G. Johnson with the Laing Funeral Home Inc. 2724 W. Church St. Eden, NY 14057.
