Obituary of Frank P. Muscato

Frank Muscato, beloved Father, Grandfather, Brother, Uncle and Friend, was born in Brant, New York on November 10,1925. The son of Frances and Herman Muscato, Frank worked for over 60 years on the fruit and vegetable farm started by his father and later jointly owned. Family and work were his life. He was devoted to his wife and children and their spouses and proudly encouraged and followed their life pursuits and accomplishments. Above all, he delighted in his grandchildren and great nieces and nephews. He got so much joy from his time with them. Family for Frank centered around his childhood home in Brant with his sisters and brother, whom he loved dearly. He enjoyed many Sunday dinners there as well as weekly lunches with his sisters.
He was also beloved by his many friends at Iris Housing in Hamburg, where he lived. He looked forward to his Friday night card games and his outings to the casino. A highly intelligent man, he loved reading, especially about history. He was also an avid hunter and fisherman.
His family wishes to extend their heartfelt thanks to all those who were so supportive to Frank and who helped to bring so much happiness to his life.
Frank is survived by his daughter, Laura (Ron) Maggio, his sons, Michael (Putdha) and David (Pam), granddaughters, Valanti, Andrea, Taylor, and Victoria and great-grandson, Calisto. He is also survived by his sisters, Rose Pinker, Lucy (Dominic) Catalano, Marie Pinker and his brother Herman (Eileen). He is predeceased by his wife, Lois (Carrow) and his sister, Christine (James) Conely.
Family invites friends to call at the Laing Funeral Home Inc. 2724 W. Church St. Eden NY on Monday, January 3rd from 3:00 to 7:00 PM.
A Mass of Christian Burial will be Celebrated on Tuesday at 10:30 AM in St. Anthony's Church in Farnham, NY. Burial will follow in Evergreen Lawn Cemetery in Hanover.
