I was sorry to hear about the passing of your mother and wife. I knew Lani years ago when her husband Ron worked with my late husband Herman Kuebler at General Mills. Since our children were close in age we had the joy of going on family vacation trips together to Lake George, Wasaga Beach and Allegheny State Park. One memory caused laughter, when Lani and I were on a toboggan together which turned backwards going down the hill. We did not know if we would hit anything. Your mother took it all in stride. Lani always welcomed us when we came over even though you children about weeding beans in our joint garden. Lani was gracious, kind and a loving woman. She will be truly missed.
