Barbara Stickney (Nee: Congdon), age 80, of Eden, New York, formerly of North Collins, New York, passed away in Mercy Hospital on Tuesday, July 11, 2023 after a lengthy illness. She was born on September 19, 1942. She was a daughter of the late Ivan and Ruth Congdon.
Barbara married her loving husband Robert W. Stickney of 56 years on June 24, 1967.
She was a former member of the Eden Up to Date Club and had a love for animals both great and small.
She was the devoted wife of Robert W. Stickney, the beloved mother of William (Kelly) Stickney and David (Abbey) Stickney. The loving grandmother of Thomas “TJ” Stickney and sister of Ellen (late George) Bartoo and the late Jane (Richard) Smurthwaite.
Visitation will be held Friday, July 14, 2023 from 6-9PM at the Laing Funeral Home Inc. 2724 W. Church St. Eden followed by a funeral service on Saturday, July 15, 2023 at 2PM at the funeral home.
