Obituary of Philip E. Schreiner

Philip Schreiner, age 78, of Eden, NY passed suddenly on February 7, 2024. He was the son of the late Edward and Mildred Schreiner. Philip was born and raised in Eden. He has also been a long-time resident. He was a life member of the Eden Fire Department. He was a former President of the Consistory for St. John’s United Church of Christ. Philip retired from National Fuel Gas after 35 years. He was a kind and generous man who would help anyone whenever the need arose. He was the devoted husband of Helen (Marie) Schreiner and the loving father of Bradley and Nicole (Leon). He is also survived by several grandchildren, great children, three sisters and many nieces and nephews. Besides his parents, Philip is predeceased by a brother Robert and daughters Lisa and Katie. The family would like to extend their sincere thanks to Catrina, Victoria and Matthew (Jillian) Scott for going above and beyond to comfort the family.
