How do you classify a broken heart? We always say “My heart is broken when we end a relationship, but does it really ever BREAK? Would it really be possible to continue living if our heart really BROKE? The answer seems to be Yes, my heart broke five months ago when I needed to say Good Bye to my Dad. We all knew that Mom’s heart also broke and she would never be the same person without him. We watched as she slowly withered away before our eyes. She ached with want and need to be with Dad. Yes she was sick, probably longer than any of us knew, but would she ever have gotten better without the will to live. Would she have been the same person without Dad by her side? When she took her final breath she will finally be alive again and her heart will be healed and whole again. She will finally be reunited with her other half, we all knew Mom could be a headstrong woman and she has been that way for the 35 years I have been a part of this family. Together Mom and Dad were quite the pair. Dad was the outgoing, teaser who liked a good treasure hunt and making bargains, while Mom liked to go the auction in Silver creek and shopping in Dunkirk for the ultimate buys. She liked to take rides and visit the kids, or go down to our cabin for a few hours. She loved to watch the birds and squirrels eat or just sit on the front porch and watch the traffic. She enjoyed reading a good book or magazine and searching for that perfect recipe. Somehow it worked for them.
She is free from pain and back together with Dad again. She is getting to catch up on lost times with my Mom, her one true best friend. She is now with her sister Barbara and reunited with Baba and Pap. Most of all she finally gets to give Theresa that huge hug she has been waiting for years to do.
Mom I love you so much and my kids were so lucky to have both their Grandmas so close everyday growing up, both unique in their own special ways. I will miss our nightly visiting and my evenings will definitely be lonelier now that you and Dad aren’t around to visit.
Love You Mom

To the Flynn family, My heart goes out to you all. I know you are still greaving the loss of Clyde and now the loss of Eva. It is so much for one heart to bear. I believe your parents are walking side by side with God today and always. They were amazing, beautiful, wonderful people and always had a huge hello for me when ever I seen them. I will miss them both greatly. God Bless you all.

Mom
A mother’s love has no limits or boundaries; this was every bit true for you. Your children were always the most important part of your life. Then as a grandma you expanded your heart, how big a heart you had!
There is no more special connection between a mother and her child. Each connection might vary but the depth of the love is the same. You enjoyed special time with each of your children/grandchildren and always loved them just for who they were.
As children, we can’t fully comprehend or realize the meaning of a mother’s love until we are much older and wiser or become mother’s ourselves. I have this gift now and will treasure it as you did.
Love your daughter in law
