Obituary of Dawn I. Lloyd

Dawn I. Lloyd (née Miller), of Eden, NY, passed away on August 1, 2024, at the age of 68.

Dawn was a devoted wife to Donald Lloyd and a sister to Rhonda McDonell, Richard Miller, and Ramon (Rhonda) Miller. She was also a cherished aunt to Ryan (Courtney) Miller, Christopher Miller, Eric (Riata) Miller, and Jacob Miller.

With a career spanning over 40 years, Dawn made significant contributions in Human Resources. Dawn was also involved in the  Women’s VFW Auxiliary Post 8265 in Eden, NY, where she served as a past president. Her commitment to service extended to her role as a Deputy Police Clerk and volunteer Police Reserve with the Eden Police Department.

Dawn was known for her loving, outgoing, and caring nature. She cherished time spent with her family and friends, particularly enjoying camping trips with her husband and their beloved dog, Zoe. Dawn also enjoyed bowling, traveling, and was always up for an adventure. 

A visitation to celebrate Dawn’s life will be held on August 10, 2024, from 4:00 PM to 7:00 PM at Laing Funeral Home Inc., 2724 W. Church St., Eden.

In lieu of flowers, the family suggests donations be made to the American Cancer Society.

Dawn’s spirit and warmth will be deeply missed by all who had the pleasure of knowing her. May she rest in peace.
