I am sad to learn of Skip's passing. I have many fond memories of him as my physical education teacher at LSC. I thoroughly enjoyed participating in the sports and activities. Several years after my graduation in 1974, I returned for his advice about changing careers into education. He took the time from his busy day to meet with me for a very productive conversation. His ideas and opinions along with those of others I respected
led me to become a School Counselor.
I will miss Skip's kindness and frequent smile.

In my mind one of the best coaches in WNY history. He molded much of what I tried to teach on the football field when I coached. I will miss you my friend - I am a better person because of your influence.

Coach Maue will be missed by everyone he knew, coached and taught. As evidenced at his surprise retirement party about 15 years ago he was loved by all. Even though I haven't seen coach recently I often talk and think about him fondly. He was one of the reasons I continued on in coaching myself. God Bless the Maue family.

I have only known Coach and his family for a short time (not long enough). I can only say that I wish my high school footfall coach was either him or like him. The man that I had the pleasure of getting to know was a winner and he challenged those he touched and knew to be winners as well. I thank him for sharing some of his short time on this earth with me. he was a coach, teacher and mentor to the end.

I remember when Coach first came to Lake Shore Central. I thought he was a student. He was the youngest teacher there, and the best looking. I am sure he will be missed by his family and friends.
Rest in Peace Coach.
