Donald M. Greuschow 60, of Eden, NY died on June 18, 2010. HE was born July 10, 1949, the son of Harvey F. and Lorita E. (Major) Greuschow. Don spent his life donating his time and talent for the sheer enjoyment of the citizens of Eden and the Southtowns Community. Don was a former president of Eden Jaycees, a member of the Eden Chamber of Commerce, Eden Corn Festival Concession Chairman, founder of the Eden Winterfest, 1st Commander of and considered by many to be the founding father of the Sons of America Legion Squadron 880.. He was also a Eden Democratic Commiteeman. These along with countless other selfless acts exhibited his outstanding passion and relentless Volunteer Spirit.
Surviving are his daughter, Ashley L. Greuschow, companion, Maureen OHara, one brother Reverend Gary F. (Darlene) Greuschow, three sisters; Linda (Frank) Prell, Cheryl (Alan) Andrews, and Joanne (Lewis) Cardi. Also surviving are many loving nieces and nephews. A Memorial Service will be held on Saturday, June 26, 2010 in the Eden American Legion Newell-Faulkner Post #880, Legion Drive, Eden, NY Expressions of sympathy may be given to Dons daughter Ashely at 2246 Shadagee Rd., Eden, NY
