So sorry to hear the news. I have been thinking about the whole Henry family, and what a blessing you have been over the many years to the Willets and the Eden/Hamburg community ... many fond memories! Keeping you in our thoughts and prayers during this time.

Mac Willet posted a condolence
Like my sister Laura wrote, the Henry's and the Willet's were and are connected in many ways. I worked many "high school" and "college" summers for W.D. Henry & Sons, and credit much of my strong work ethic to that experience. Rest in Peace, Earl, and may God richly bless the family.

My condolences to the Henry family. Earl will be missed. What a lovely man - always humble, quiet, intelligent, and kind. I am so glad I got to know him as a Breakfast Club friend of my dad's. They're probably refilling their coffee cups somewhere right now!

What great memories I have – from moving into Earl’s house in the late ‘50s with my parents and siblings for a year or two…to answering his questions about mom’s college pal (‘Miss Jody’) to exploring the fields as a little kid and watching Earl et al drive fasssst (in reverse) in trucks that all seemed to be missing the driver’s door of course…to working for Earl as a teenager…to visiting as an adult and doing things such as watching the home movie of the incredible snowfall (1978?) at ‘Henry’s corner’….and of course – every summer eating the best corn on the face of the earth! Speaking of which, I would say our loving Heavenly Father can expect a bumper crop this summer, given the new help He has!
Blessed are those who mourn, for they shall be comforted…
Grace and peace, friends…remember Rev 21:4 -- richard willet
